The single vineyard "Krapflried", in common parlance plainly called "Setz", was first mentioned in documents in 1570. It borders the GroĂhöflein vineyard sites in the direction to Kleinhöflein. Located south of the single vineyard Tatschler and the road to Kleinhöflein, a part of the town Eisenstadt, the southeast facing "Setz" enjoys plenty of sunshine from early morning till late in the afternoon. The soilâs high content of limestone in the part near to GroĂhöflein allows the BlaufrĂ€nkisch grapes to ripen fully. The last fifeteen vineyards from Kleinhöflein with low limestone content perfectly matches with Cabernet Sauvignon. The heights of the Leithagebirge protectes the "Setz" from wind and enables the twelve and a half hectar small sites hot mesoclimate.
